| The director of Ceremonies called the Brethren to order at 10:50 am, and Distinguished Guests were introduced individually and were seated. | ||
| 1. District Grand Council was opened in due form at 11.00 am. | ||
| 2. The district Grand Prefect called upon the District Grand Chaplain for a requiem. The District Grand Chaplain, V.W.Bro. R.Y. McGown, P.G.Reg. gave details of W.Bro. Stephen Hindley, W.Bro. Alan Baxendale, W.Bro. Colin Moxey, W.Bro. John Brocklebank, R.W.Bro. Walter Balmer and W.Bro. Andrew Maginn who had passed to higher service since our last meeting. |

| 3. Salutations, 7 x 3&1, were given to the District Grand Prefect to which he suitably replied. Salutations, 5x 3&1, were given to the Deputy District Grand Prefect, W.Bro. William Laurence Richmond, G.J.D., to which he suitably replied.
Salutations, 7 x 3&1, were given to R.W.Bro. R.W. Davis, R. Dunleavy, T.F. Auber, C.H. Bull, J.E. Crosby, D.M. Cordell, P.C. Brockbank, R. Slater, M.F. Wilson, D. Guy and I.A. Bailey all of whom are District Grand Prefects together with the other R.W. Brethren to which R.W.Bro. Davis suitably replied. Salutations, 5 x 3&1, were given to V.W.Bro. G.J. Davies and the other V.W.Brethren to which V.W.Bro. Davies suitably replied. Salutations, 3 x 3&1, were given to W.Bro. R.F. Wilson, P.G.S.D. and the other Grand Officers to which W.Bro. Wilson suitably replied. |

| 4. The District Grand Prefect then welcomed all the visitors and Heads of Orders as follows. W.Bro. J.A. Harrison,.P.G.M. & G.Supt.Craft & Royal Arch W.Bro. G.D. Jones Deputy G.Supt. Royal Arch. W.Bro. K.A. Beardmore D.P.G.M. , P.G.M. Des., Mark. V.W.Bro. R.S.C. Mitchell, District Grand Master, Royal & Select Masters V.W.Bro. M.R. Walker, Intendant General, Red Cross of Constantine W.Bro. D.H. Kirkham, Chief Adept Societas Rosicruciana in Anglia W.Bro. M. Moreland, Provincial Grand Master Knights Benificent of the Holy City. |

| 5. The District Grand Prefect enquired if all the District Grand Officers were present. The District Grand Secretary replied that all were present with the exception of 2 District Officers. | ||
| 6. The District Grand Secretary then read the muster roll of the Councils to which the members of each named council stood to order. The District Grand Secretary reported that all 13 Councils were well represented. | ||
| 7. The District Grand Secretary reported 17 apologies from members of the District and 10 apologies from other Districts. | ||
| 8. The District Grand Prefect then enquired if the Minutes of the last meeting held on Saturday 285h April 2018 were ready. The District Grand Secretary replied that copies for perusal by the Brethren had been on display in the Tylers room since 9.00 am. The District Grand Senior Warden, W.Bro. John Torrance proposed and the District Grand Junior Warden, W.Bro. Andrew Whittle, seconded that they be adopted as a true record. The proposition was approved by the Brethren. | ||
| 9. The District Grand Secretary presented his report for the year ending 27th April 2019, a copy of which is attached to these minutes. | ||
| 10. The District Grand Treasurer presented the Accounts and Balance sheet for the year ended 31st August 2018, of which every member of the district had been sent a copy. He reported that the finances were in good order and no change in District Dues were required. The District Grand Senior Warden proposed and the District Grand Junior Warden Seconded that they be adopted with a vote of thanks to the Treasurer and the Auditors for their work. This was approved by the Brethren. |

| 11. Election of District Grand Treasurer. The District Grand Secretary reported that there had been only one nomination for the office in the name of W.Bro. Brian Povey. It was declared that he was elected for the ensuing Year. | ||
| 12. The District Grand Senior Warden proposed and the District Grand Junior Warden seconded that W.Bro. A.B. Alderton, P.G.I.G. and W.Bro. F.W. Clarke, P.G.St.B. be the Auditors for the ensuing year. This was approved by the Brethren. | ||
| 13. The District Grand Secretary proposed and the District Grand Treasurer seconded that the 2 brethren to serve on the executive committee should be the Assistant Secretary and the Deputy Director of Ceremonies as appointed at the meeting. This was approved by the Brethren. | ||
| 14. The District Grand Prefect then had great pleasure in reappointing W.Bro. William Laurence Richmond as his Deputy for the ensuing year. | ||
| 15. The District Grand Officers for the year were then appointed and invested as follows, together with promotions. | ||

| 16. The District Grand prefect then addressed the meeting. A detailed copy of The District Grand prefect’s address is attached to these minutes. |

| 17. A collection of Alms was taken which raised £252.00 | ||
| 18. The District Grand Secretary reported that there was no other business to bring before district Grand Council other than the date of the next annual meeting which was the fourth Saturday in April, that being the 28th. | ||
| 19. District Grand Council was closed in due form at 12.10 pm. | ||
| The first and forth verse of the National Anthem was sung. | ||
| The District Grand Prefect, Deputy District Grand Prefect, District officers, visiting District Grand Prefects, Distinguished Guests and Brethren retired in procession. | ||
